Francesca Snyder

Francesca is an Associate on the Workplace and Employment Team based in Sydney. She has experience dealing with various employment and workplace matters including:

• Commercial disputes
• Drafting contracts of employment and workplace policies
• Defending restraint of trade clauses
• Modern award interpretation
• Defending bullying, harassment and sexual harassment matters
• Advising on compliance with work health and safety matters
• Conducting workplace investigations
• Representing clients in the Fair Work Commission.

Immediately prior to joining ABLA, Francesca worked as an employment lawyer at a large, multi-practice law firm where she advised both employees and employers on workplace matters. Francesca also has extensive pre-admission experience working with the United States Department of State in both Brazil and Thailand and with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment in New Zealand.

Francesca holds a Bachelor of Law Honours degree (LLB Honours) from the University of Auckland and was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in October 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Florida.

Francesca is fluent in Spanish.
