Sofia Bryan

Based in ABLA's Sydney office, Sofia has a diverse range of experience in advisory and litigious work across workplace relations and employment law. Some specific examples of her experience include:

• Responding to unfair dismissal, general protection claims and discrimination claims
• Managing ill or injured employees
• Modern Award interpretation and compliance
• Responding to underpayment claims
• Organisational policy drafting and reviews
• Employment contract drafting and reviews
• Supporting employers through major workplace change, including redundancy processes.

Her litigation experience spans proceedings in the Fair Work Commission, the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Local Courts of New South Wales and the District Court of New South Wales.

Sofia holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and International Security Studies (majoring in International Relations) from the Australian National University. She was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2024.
