Experience
Swetha is based in ABLA’s Sydney office and advises clients across a wide range of industries on employment and industrial relations matters. Her experience includes unfair dismissal and general protections claims, redundancy, enterprise bargaining, modern slavery compliance, and the drafting and review of workplace contracts and policies.
She regularly prepares legal documents and appears for clients in proceedings before the Fair Work Commission, acting for ASX‑listed and major national employers across sectors such as transport, logistics, hospitality, consumer goods and entertainment. Swetha also conducts workplace investigations into complaints of racism, inappropriate conduct and workplace culture issues, and undertakes compliance reviews of workplace contracts and policies.
Swetha has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Media (majoring in Narrative Journalism and Non-Fiction Writing) from Macquarie University. She obtained her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law, before being admitted as an Australian Legal Practitioner in May 2024.
