Dominic provides pragmatic and efficient advice to clients of varying sizes and complexities.
In 2019, Dominic began his legal career clerking for a well-regarded Newcastle based corporate and commercial firm. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2021 where he worked across the firm’s employment, commercial litigation and corporate and commercial teams.
Joining ABLA in 2024, Dominic brings a diverse array of skills and experience from his varied practices to now focus solely on employment and industrial relations matters.
He has advised and assisted clients in relation to various employment matters, including:
- unfair dismissals, general protections, discrimination and bullying and harassment claims;
- application and interpretation of modern awards, legislation and case law;
- contracts of employment, service agreements and contractor agreements;
- restraints of trade;
- terminations of employment and engagements;
- breaches of contract;
- policies and procedures;
- employment aspects of business, asset and share sales and purchases;
- business restructures and redundancies; and
- workplace disputes and investigations.
Dominic has acted in proceedings before the Fair Work Commission, Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, Local Courts of New South Wales, District Court of New South Wales, Australian Human Rights Commission, Queensland Human Rights Commission, Anti-Discrimination New South Wales and New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Dominic is admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Finance) as well as a Diploma of Legal Practice.
